Araghchi lauds Turkiye’s solidarity with Iranian nation
In these blessed days of Ramadan, the prayers and solidarity of the brotherly nation of Turkiye for the Iranian people are a great source of strength and spirit, Araghchi wrote in a post in Turkish language on his X account on Friday.
“Iran will continue to resolutely defend the sovereignty and security of its people,” he said.
“We believe that justice and peace will prevail, he added, sincerely thanking for Turkish people and government’s prayers and support.
Earlier speaking in a phone call with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan, Araghchi stressed that no projectile has been fired from Iran toward Turkiye.
He also emphasized the need for vigilance against conspiracies by the Israeli regime aimed at undermining Iran's friendly relations with regional countries.
