IRGC says will not allow ‘even one liter of oil’ to pass through Strait of Hormuz
A spokesperson of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters issued a statement on Wednesday, saying Iran’s armed forces do not require closing the Strait of Hormuz due to their innovative capabilities in the region. Any oil shipment destined for the US, the Zionist regime, or its hostile allies will be considered a legitimate target, he added.
Second Brigadier General Ebrahim Zolfaqari further noted that the closure of the Strait of Hormuz is a result of the hostile conditions imposed by the US and the Israeli regime upon countries in the world.
The spokesperson said that the enemies’ strategy of hiding behind neighboring Islamic and Muslim countries in the West Asia region is over.
“Your tactic of concealing your weak military behind public spaces and regional infrastructure cannot save you from the quagmire you’ve found yourselves in. Your vital centers and bases are one after another burning in the fire you have ignited — and will continue to burn,” he added.
