Health Ministry: 30% of Victims in First Week of War Are Children
The Ministry of Health and Medical Education announced that the continued attacks by the United States and the Israeli regime on different regions of the country have claimed many lives.
The ministry noted that the loss of each victim has had a profound impact, as the death of every individual affects the lives of many others connected to them. A large number of people have also been injured in these attacks.
Preliminary statistics from the first week of the war indicate that among those killed were 198 women and 190 individuals under the age of 18, including six children under the age of five.
The youngest victim reported so far was an eight-month-old baby girl, while the oldest was an 88-year-old man. Children account for approximately 30% of the total number of fatalities.
Among the injured, the figures include 1,044 women, 584 individuals under the age of 18, and 54 children under the age of five.
