Iran Red Crescent: More Than 6,600 Civilian Sites Targeted Since Start of War
(Tehran Ana)- The head of Iran’s Iranian Red Crescent Society said that more than 6,600 civilian facilities across the country have been targeted since the start of attacks by the United States and Israel.
According to the official, 6,668 civilian units have been struck in different parts of the country since the beginning of what he described as the aggression by the U.S. and the Israeli regime.
Among the targeted locations were 5,535 residential units, 1,041 commercial units, 14 medical centers, 65 schools, and 13 facilities affiliated with the Iranian Red Crescent Society.
He also stated that several rescue and emergency vehicles were damaged during the attacks. A number of Red Crescent relief workers were also injured while carrying out humanitarian rescue missions.
