Ghalibaf Warns U.S. and Israel Will Pay for Crossing Iran’s Red Line

In a televised video message, Ghalibaf vowed that Tehran will hold both nations accountable. “You stepped on our red line, and you will pay the price,” he said, adding that Iran would deliver “devastating blows” that would force the enemies to “beg for mercy.”

Ghalibaf emphasized that Iranian officials had prepared for all possible scenarios, including the aftermath of Khamenei’s martyrdom, and reassured citizens that the country’s leadership remains steadfast.

He also criticized U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, calling them “filthy criminals” and declaring that Iran’s response is not only a matter of survival but also “the time for final retribution has come.”

The parliament speaker stressed that Iran would defend its sovereignty and the aspirations of hundreds of millions of free people, saying the Islamic Republic “will not be swallowed up” by its enemies.

Saturday’s US-Israeli strikes in Tehran resulted in the martyrdom of Ayatollah Khamenei, prompting national mourning and warnings of retaliation from Iranian officials.
