Iran, Iraq Foreign Ministers Highlight Coordination on Regional Stability
(Tehran Ana)- Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein held a phone conversation on Friday with his Iranian counterpart, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, to review ongoing regional and international developments.
During the call, Araghchi updated Hussein on the latest progress in the indirect nuclear negotiations between Iran and the United States, outlining recent diplomatic efforts.
Both sides underscored the need for sustained coordination and dialogue among regional states to safeguard peace and stability.
Earlier in the day, Araghchi also spoke by phone with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, where the two officials discussed current regional dynamics. Iran’s foreign minister provided an update on the status of indirect Tehran–Washington talks following the latest round of discussions held Thursday in Geneva.
