Iran and Tajikistan Strengthen Trade Ties Amid Growing Economic Cooperation
TEHRAN (ANA)- Iran’s Industry Minister Mohammad Atabak says bilateral trade and economic relations with Tajikistan are expanding, highlighting new opportunities in mining, medicine, and private-sector collaboration.
During his visit to Dushanbe, Atabak emphasized the longstanding friendly relations between the two countries and detailed his meetings with three ministers, two heads of state committees, and Tajikistan’s prime minister aimed at boosting trade exchanges.
Accompanied by leaders from Iran’s Chamber of Commerce and a delegation of private-sector entrepreneurs, the minister noted that strong connections were established with Tajik businesses, laying the groundwork for expanded cooperation across multiple sectors.
Atabak stressed that Iran and Tajikistan have significant potential to deepen collaboration, particularly in mining and minerals, signaling a commitment to further strengthen economic and trade relations in the region.
