The discussions focused on issues of mutual interest, following Gharibabadi’s recent trip to Beijing and the Muscat negotiations between Iran and the US.

Earlier this week, Gharibabadi traveled to China to meet with senior officials and deliver a message from Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to President Xi Jinping, emphasizing bilateral cooperation.

On Friday, he participated in a delegation led by Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in Muscat, where Iran held indirect nuclear talks with the United States, addressing its nuclear program and the potential lifting of US-led sanctions.
