Kataib Hezbollah Calls on Resistance Groups to Rally Behind Iran
According to Alsumaria News TV, Kataib Hezbollah Secretary-General Abu Hussein al-Humaidawi issued a statement on Sunday calling on Islamic resistance forces worldwide to prepare for a broad confrontation in defense of Iran.
Al-Humaidawi described Iran as a cornerstone of the Muslim world, saying it has spent more than four decades backing oppressed nations and Islamic causes regardless of sectarian, ethnic, or national differences. He argued that this role has made Tehran a primary target for mounting pressure from Israel and its allies.
He accused the Israeli regime and its partners of seeking to weaken and ultimately destroy Iran as part of what he described as a broader effort to erode moral and humanitarian values in the region.
Stressing the importance of the so-called axis of resistance, al-Humaidawi said supporting Iran is not optional but essential. He cautioned that any attack on the country would trigger serious repercussions, warning that Iran’s adversaries would face severe consequences and widespread regional instability.
The statement also called on supporters to prepare on the ground, framing the confrontation as one that would lead either to victory or martyrdom, particularly in the event that religious authorities issue a call for jihad.
The remarks follow similar warnings issued last week, when the Kataib Hezbollah leader said a war against Iran would not be symbolic but would amount to a blaze threatening U.S. interests, reiterating that the resistance axis would stand firmly with Tehran against any aggression.
