South Pars Gas Complex Pumps 600 Million Cubic Meters of Sweet Gas Daily

Gholamabbas Hosseini, Managing Director of the South Pars Gas Complex Company, made the remarks during a meeting of the complex’s Strategic Council, highlighting the continuous, round-the-clock efforts of specialists and staff in maintaining production.

Since the start of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2025), the complex’s 13 refineries have sweetened and injected over 163.6 billion cubic meters of gas into the national grid to meet household demand.

Hosseini also outlined plans for major refinery overhauls in the next Iranian year, emphasizing the critical need for timely procurement of equipment and essential materials to ensure maintenance operations begin smoothly and on schedule.

He stressed that meticulous planning and the prompt supply of vital resources are key to sustaining uninterrupted gas production and supporting Iran’s energy infrastructure.
