Islamic Azad University Showcases Achievements at 16th Int’l Iran Nano Expo

TEHRAN (ANA)- A number of 33 companies, stationed at the incubator centers of the Islamic Azad University, displayed over forty innovative products at the 16th International Nanotechnology Exhibition in Tehran.

The products included multipurpose system for detecting harmful gases produced by Islamic Azad University’s Advanced and Nano Engineering Research Center, cancer and diabetes relief with nano-bioactive compounds made by Atlas Aram Technology and Idea Accelerator company, nano-keratin from chicken feathers developed by Behin Fanavaran Arman Company from stationed at the incubator center of the Islamic Azad University’s Science and Research branch, cancer detection with nano-gold and strengthening of structures with nano-concrete produced by the Nanotechnology Research Center of the Islamic Azad University’s South Tehran branch, aromatherapy with nanotechnology manufactured by Nano Rayeh Shamim company, stationed at the incubator center of the Islamic Azad University’s Central Tehran branch, industrial production of gold and silver in nano and micro dimensions produced by Pouya Rizsazeh Razi company, nanoparticles for cleaning industrial wastewater produced by Gil Fanavaran Kimia company stationed at the Islamic Azad University’s Rasht branch, identification of the smallest compositions of materials and extracts by Advanced Laboratory for Material Testing and Evaluation of the Islamic Azad University’s Rasht branch, graphene for tire and bitumen reinforcement by Aria Graphene Technology company, and lightweight polymer-reinforced blocks made by the Nanotechnology Research Center of the Islamic Azad Universitys’ Tabriz branch.

The 16th International Nano Technology Exhibition and the First Exhibition of Advanced Technologies of Iran was inaugurated at the Tehran International Fairground.

Held from November 2 to 5, the Nano Exhibition featured over 150 innovative companies showcasing advancements in nanotechnology. Meanwhile, the Exhibition of Advanced Technologies hosted 80 knowledge-based and technological products, attracting visitors, particularly students, researchers, and investors.
