Iran-Made Kit Determines Fertile Period in Women with 99.8% Accuracy
The kit determines the peak fertile days by measuring the level of luteinizing hormone (LH) in urine.
One of the outstanding features of this product is its speed and ease of use. While many diagnostic methods require laboratory and specialized equipment, this product shows the result within one to three minutes and does not require additional equipment.
This feature has made this product as an efficient and available tool for home use.
In a relevant development in July, a smart gadget which uses artificial intelligence was developed by an Iranian inventor, making diagnosis of male fertility at home easy, fast and affordable with 98% accuracy.
“This knowledge-based product, developed at the incubator center of the Islamic Azad University’s Ardabil branch, is designed to remove cultural and psychological barriers in diagnosing male fertility,” said Hossein Vaseqi Doudran, the young Iranian inventor.
“The Spoo gadget consists of a small analyzer gadget and an artificial intelligence-based mobile application, measures key sperm parameters like the number, motility and shape based on World Health Organization (WHO) standards and displays the results in the form of a report and video on the user's phone,” he added.
"This gadget is very useful for men who intend to initially examine their fertility status or couples who need continuous monitoring during the treatment process,” Vaseqi Doudran said.
"Spoo is offered at a price of about one-tenth of foreign models, which makes it easier for different classes to access. The 98% accuracy of this device is comparable to laboratory results,” he added.
