Sharif University’s Technological Company among World’s Top 20 AI Startups
The company which is supported by the Iranian Vice-Presidency for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy and the Sharif University of Technology’s Industry Relations Management Department, was selected as one of the top 20 startups out of approximately 8,500 global startups in the StartUs Insight International Oil & Gas Trend Report 2025.
The knowledge-based company, which started its activities in 2020, covers a variety of fields and its activities are not limited to oil and gas.
The company operates in four main sectors of sports and health, water, energy, and oil and gas, and is at present carrying out large-scale and key projects in the field of monitoring and artificial intelligence in various industries and applications.
In the latest QS 2026 world rankings, Sharif University of Technology ranked second among the Iranian universities.
According to the latest QS 2026 world rankings, which were recently published, Sharif University of Technology ranked 375th in the world and second in Iran after the University of Tehran, with an overall score of 39.9.
In the latest QS ranking, the University of Tehran ranked first in Iran by moving up 46 places and achieving 322nd place internationally.
In this list, Sharif University of Technology, Amirkabir University of Technology, Iran University of Science and Technology, and Isfahan University of Technology were ranked second to fifth, respectively.
