“The device we have presented to the market is a smart ultrasonic homogenizer designed for mixing and homogenizing materials in various industries,” said Vahid Mosaddeq, a technical expert at the knowledge-based company.

Noting that the device automatically maintains optimal working conditions by utilizing digital technology and artificial intelligence, he said, “The operating frequency of the device is controlled in real time so that the device’s performance remains optimal and its energy consumption and depreciation are reduced.”

“This homogenizer activates the cavitation process in the liquid by sending ultrasound waves through a piece to the solution. This phenomenon causes the particles in the solution to break and combine evenly,” Mosaddeq said.

“The main application of this device is in medical, metallurgical and materials laboratories, and on an industrial scale it can also be used in petrochemical, refinery and pharmaceutical processes,” he added.

In a relevant development in 2024, researchers at a knowledge-based company in Iran had also domestically designed and produced laboratory centrifuges to meet the needs of the country's research and laboratory centers.

“The benchtop (desktop) centrifuges produced by this knowledge-based company is used in laboratories and research institutes that operate in fields such as biotechnology, cellular, molecular and health, and performs the task of separating different tissues of fluid samples in laboratory samples,” said Mohammadreza Heidari, the managing director of the knowledge-based company about the laboratory centrifuges they locally produced in Iran.

“The centrifuge produced by the company has a fascinating performance and is produced according to international standards. It has the capability to rotate up to 5,000 rpm and also has a brushless electric motor. It can meet the needs of the country's laboratory industry with safety and high efficiency,” he added.

“This centrifuge spins biological samples such as blood sample around its axis at different speeds and separates and sets down different substances of a mixture or solution,” Heidari said.

He pointed to after sales services provided to the customers by their company as one of the superiorities of their device over the foreign-made equivalents.

“The price of the product is 30% lower compared to similar products. it is offered for sale at 70% lower prices compared to imported equivalents,” he added to talk about the advantages of their products over other similar products.
