Islamic Azad University’s Qazvin Branch Receives ISO 17025 Standard License

The ISO 17025 standard, as one of the most important international laboratory standards, has been developed to ensure the accuracy, validity and reliability of laboratory results and has been approved by over 100 countries around the world.
This standard specifies the technical and managerial requirements necessary for the proper functioning of laboratories.
Obtaining the ISO 17025 certificate helps increase the quality and reliability of test results.
Islamic Azad University’s Qazvin branch has been able to obtain this standard in 346 scopes (domains) in the field of food industry in two sectors of chemical and microbial, and construction and concrete industries, from the National Accreditation Center of Iran (NACI).
ISO/IEC 17025 enables laboratories to demonstrate that they operate competently and generate valid results, thereby promoting confidence in their work both nationally and around the world.
It also helps facilitate cooperation between laboratories and other bodies by generating wider acceptance of results between countries. Test reports and certificates can be accepted from one country to another without the need for further testing, which, in turn, improves international trade.
