Iran to Hold 29th Int’l Oil Show in May

Ali-Mohammad Mousavi said that the upcoming Iran Oil Show will offer unparalleled opportunities to expand global cooperation in the industry.
Scheduled for May 8-11, 2025, the exhibition is not only the largest energy trade hub in West Asia but also a platform for exchanging ideas and shaping the future of the global energy landscape.
Mousavi noted that over the past three decades, the exhibition has served as a cornerstone of energy diplomacy, fostering practical cooperation and political dialogue. He added that Iran, as a leading nation in oil and gas reserves, is ready to attract foreign investment and modernize its energy infrastructure.
Iran is an energy superpower and the petroleum industry in Iran plays an important part in it. Iran which exported around 2 million barrels of crude oil a day, was the second-largest exporter among the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries. Over four transformative days, Iran Oil Show will facilitate critical dialogue and collaboration across diverse sectors – from energy, technology and finance to maritime, logistics, manufacturing and transport – essential for advancing the energy transition and fast-tracking climate action.
