Angola’s Coffee Product to Increase 25% in 2025

TEHRAN (ANA)- Angola has announced plans to harvest over 8,000 tons of commercial coffee in 2025, which shows a hike of 2,000 ton from the previous year.
Vasco Goncalves, director-general of the National Coffee Institute, attributed the rise in coffee production to increased investment by farmers and companies in the sector.
He noted that a ton of commercial coffee is currently priced between 2 million and 3 million kwanza (about 2,192 to 3,289 U.S. dollars) on the domestic market.
According to him, Cuanza Norte Province is the country's leading coffee-producing region, followed by the neighboring provinces of Uige and Cuanza Sul.
