Saudi Aramco Announces Completion of 6 Billion USD Bond Issuance

TEHRAN (ANA)- Saudi Arabian Oil Company, commonly known as Saudi Aramco, announced the completion of a bond issuance of 6 billion U.S. dollars.

The company said in a statement that the issuance consists of three tranches of USD-denominated senior unsecured notes under Aramco's global medium-term note program.

The tranches include 2 billion dollars in senior notes maturing in 2034 with a coupon rate of 5.25 percent, 2 billion dollars in senior notes maturing in 2054 with a coupon rate of 5.75 percent, and 2 billion dollars in senior notes maturing in 2064 with a coupon rate of 5.875 percent.

"Our order book exceeded 33 billion U.S. dollars at its peak, reflecting Aramco's exceptional financial resilience and fortress balance sheet," said Ziad T. Al-Murshed, Aramco executive vice president of finance and chief financial officer.

The transaction was priced on July 10, and the notes are listed on the London Stock Exchange.

The offering was over six times oversubscribed, based on the initial targeted size of 5 billion dollars.
