Companies in Iraq, Afghanistan Seek Iranian Counterparts’ Cooperation at "Made in Iran" Exhibition
“In cooperation with the Vice Presidency for Science, Technology and Knowledge Economy and Iran House of innovation & Technology (IHiT), we have provided a space for the companies to interact with foreign delegations and conduct meetings to know each other and become familiarize with each other’s activities. Because of January holidays, foreign delegations that attended this year's exhibition were only from Iraq and Afghanistan. We dedicated the second day of the exhibition to Afghanistan and the third day to Iraqi delegations,” Mehdi Arman, manager of the B2B department at "Made in Iran" Exhibition 2023 told reporters.
The "Made in Iran" Exhibition was held at Tehran International Fairground during January 2-5, 2024.
"Five Iraqi companies in different fields participated in the exhibition. A meeting between the foreign companies and the companies taking part in the exhibition lasts 20 minutes. The field of activity of the companies is different. For example, out of the five Iraqi companies present at this year's exhibition are operating in the medical field,” he added.
“Many delegations from Iraq, including a representative from the chemistry department of " Al-Mustakbal " University, attended this year's exhibition. On the second day of the exhibition, about 40 B2B meetings were held between Iranian companies and Afghan delegations, and on the third day, the number of B2B meetings between Iranian companies and Iraqi companies exceeded this number. More than 80 business meetings have been held between foreign delegations and Iranian companies,” Arman further noted.
