Envoy: Uzbekistan Needs Iran’s Assistance in Textile, Agriculture Fields
Nasriev Fariddin Badriddinovich, the Uzbekistan’s envoy to Iran underscored his country's need to Iran-made laboratory equipments during his visit to the "11th exhibition of advanced materials, laboratory equipment, testing and experiment".
He further pointed to the joint fields between Iranian knowledge-based companies and the technological needs of Uzbekistan.
“Today, in this technological exhibition of laboratory products and equipment made in Iran, significant products have been displayed, each of which can encourage Uzbek companies to buy,” the ambassador said.
“In 2023, cooperation between Iran and Uzbekistan in technological fields increased to $500 million,” he noted.
Highlighting that both sides seek to expand cooperation, he stated that, “Uzbekistan is seeking to increase volume of cooperation up to $1 billion.”
In response to a question put forward to him by ANA correspondent about the fields required by Uzbekistan to buy Iranian technological and knowledge-based products, Nasriev Fariddin said, “Uzbekistan has declared its need to purchase Iranian products in the fields of agriculture, textiles and advanced technology.”
