Iran's IAU Researcher Producing Walls Resistant to Earthquake
Alireza Asl Davtalab, an IAU inventor, introduced his invention at Age of Hope national exhibition (Asre Omid Event) that was held in Tehran in late May.
He completed his product in cooperation with and support of IAU-Alborz branch.
Speaking to ANA correspondent on the sidelines of Age of Hope exhibition, he said that he has been active in the industry for many years and that he has been able to achieve technical knowhow and technology that is used to strengthen the building and insulate cold, heat, and sound.
He added that his product does not burn in fire and withstands temperatures up to 1,600 centigrade degrees.
Asl Davtalab also said that he and his teammates have registered an invention non-welded structures that resist very well against earthquakes.
According to the Iranian researcher, the company's products include prefabricated walls, non-welded structures or durable molds that can be used to produce shear walls and tunnel molds to build a highly resistant construction.
He added that less water is used in construction by using his company’s structures, adding that the company enjoys the existing technical knowhow as the country faces the drought.
“Currently, the construction industry uses stone wool or glass wool as insulator, which are carcinogenic, while his company’s products are safe in that regard, in addition to being ecofriendly," Asl Davtalab underlined.
It should be mentioned that the Islamic Azad University's "second step of revolution" under the title of Asreh Omid Event was held in Tehran's Mosalla from May 29 to June 01, 2022 to exhibit new achievements, equipments and products in the technological and innovation arenas in line with opening new windows towards strengthening the idea of creating ground for knowledge-based businesses at the 40th anniversary of establishment of the Islamic Azad University.
