Maskani considered cooperative companies at the shared borders between Iran and the neighboring countries to be spearheading the cooperative sector's exports and announced the increase of border residents' exports share from the previous year’s $300 to $600 this year.

“Currently, 75% of Iran's non-oil exports are exported to the five target countries of China, Turkey, Iraq, India and the UAE, but the exports of cooperatives are to the 10 target countries of Turkey, Qatar, the UAE, Iraq, Oman, Russia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Armenia and Kazakhstan takes place, which shows the diversity of cooperatives' export destinations just as the diversity of their products,” the deputy labor minister added.
