Islamic Azad University’s Incubator Center in Western Iran Produces Agricultural Tools, Ultra-Light Artificial Stone

TEHRAN (ANA)- The head of the incubator center of the technological units of Islamic Azad University’s Khorramabad branch in Western Iran announced manufacturing different products in the Center, including agricultural tools and ultra-light artificial stone.

“Launching and equipment of the ultra-light artificial stone production workshop by Abniyeh Sazan Shahyad company, production of agricultural tools, finalizing production of medicinal products based on herbal plants and obtaining the necessary legal and health licenses, equipment of the hardware and software repair workshop by Fanavaran Aflak company, attracting technological cores and units to be stationed in the Center, holding start-up events, participation in national exhibitions and events and presenting technological products, setting up a permanent exhibition of products, and preparing brochures and booklets about the products are among the activities of the incubator center of the technological units of Islamic Azad University’s Khorramabad branch,” Hemad Bahrami, also a member of the Faculty of Mechanics of Islamic Azad University’s Khorramabad branch, told ANA.

“Given the need for disinfectant products and equipment needed to fight the spread of Coronavirus, Azad Zist Fanavaran Kasian company was entrusted for the production of disinfectant sprays and gels,” he added.

“Also, three products of smart disinfectant gate, ultraviolet sterilizing chamber and pedal disinfecting device were designed and manufactured in the Center,” Bahrami concluded.

In a relevant development in January, tens of businesspersons from Iraq’s Northern provinces attended an exhibition of products of the Iranian technological and knowledge-based companies in Lorestan province in Western Iran.

“The exhibition of Lorestan's export capabilities with participation of 34 technological and knowledge-based companies and relevant incubator centers of Lorestan province was held in Khorramabad in the presence of 37 businesspersons from the Northern provinces of Iraq,” Head of Lorestan Science and Technology Park Farhad Namdari said.

He added that the exhibition was held on January 24-26.

Namdari said that the technological and knowledge-based companies that presented their products in the exhibition in the fields of agriculture, food industry, animal husbandry, fisheries, technical engineering and petrochemicals had reached the phase of mass-production of their products and enjoyed the necessary export capabilities.
