Vice President: Iran Resolved to Build First Digital Health Factory Soon  

TEHRAN (ANA)- Iran's First Vice-President Mohammad Mokhber said that Tehran is determined to built the first digital health factory in the country as soon as possible.

Mokhber who had attended Amina Accelerator StartUp's booth at a nationwide "Business Exhibition" threw full support of the government behind establishment of the first digital health factory in the country.

"Establishment of a digital health factory will boost quality and quantity of services rendered by the country's health sector," Mokhber underscored.

The first vice president further underlined the government's firm will to build the country's largest "Fab Lab" in Qom province in Central Iran.

In the meantime, Managing Director of Amina Accelerator StartUp Vahid Qasemi said in the sidelines of the exhibition that Iran's first health digital factory will be constructed in an area of seven thousands square meters under support of Iran's vice president for science and technology.

Digital Health Factory is a type of business builder focused on identifying medically useful, technically feasible economic business opportunities and providing products and services for the healthcare sector.   

Fab Lab or Digital Fabrication Laboratory is a place where anyone can make (almost) anything, using digital design, 3D printers, laser cutting and other advanced technological means. In its essence, Fab-Lab is about turning ideas into a reality.
