Brazil’s President Criticizes Trump’s Plan to Create New Global Organization

Speaking in a public address, Lula da Silva stated that instead of engaging in discussions on UN reform, Trump has proposed the creation of an alternative body, referred to as the “Board of Peace,” in which decision-making power would be concentrated in his hands, according to Russia’s TASS news agency.

The Brazilian president stressed that Brazil would not recognize any international organization formed through unilateral action, reaffirming his country’s commitment to the United Nations as the central institution for managing global affairs.

Lula da Silva also underscored Brazil’s determination to safeguard its national sovereignty, saying the country would not submit to external pressure and would continue to demand respect for the Brazilian state and its people.
