Iran to Up R&D in Pet-Chem Industry

TEHRAN (ANA)- More than 25 percent of the production capacity of the Middle East petrochemical industry sits in Iran which enjoys special features of its own in this industry with more than 70 percent of equipment made domestically, official facts and figures say, adding Iran is now determined to increase its capacity and further indigenize the know-how of the industry in a bid to multiply its revenues from the pet-chem sector.
