Iran Determined to Keep Advancing in Nanotechnology

Iranians’ advancements in nanotechnology field have been so dramatic that currently the country is ahead of the UK and France in publishing academic papers about Nanotechnology.

In their pursuit of technology, Iranian scientists are prioritizing energy, health, water and environment, construction, and nano-materials industry atop the agenda to reap better results nationally.

The reason that energy is the first in the list of priorities is that Iran’s oil and gas sector make up a big part of the national industry.

Annually Iran holds a big Nanotechnology Exhibition where start-ups, laboratories and research centers convene to put their latest achievements on display. The latest edition of the event was held in Tehran last month.
