Tehran is a major stopover for migratory birds on the North-South flyway, and as the weather starts to get colder in Northern areas, they start their journey passing over Iran to warmer regions near the Persian Gulf and the Arabian Sea.
Lake Cheetgar is an artificial and recreational lake located to the North of Cheetgar Park in Northwestern Tehran.
