IAU President Tours 2 Industrial Plants in Central Iran
download all picturesTEHRAN (ANA)- The president of the Islamic Azad University (IAU) Mohammad-Mehdi Tehranchi paid separate visits to two industrial plants in the Iranian Central province of Yazd.
Tehranchi paid visits to EEFA Ceram and Sirang, in a bid to have an evaluation of the efforts made to increase interaction between academic centers and industrial companies.
The IAU is the third-largest university in the world as far as the enrolment numbers display. Established in 1982, the university has educated and trained a large number of Iran’s experienced workforce today. To date, some five million students have graduated from the IAU, and currently, 1.7 million students are studying at the university branches.In addition to Iranian students, around 25,000 foreign nationals from 133 countries are studying at the Islamic Azad University.
