The robot (smart electric tractor) is an electromechanical and remotely controlled device that is equipped with two 12V / 350W engines whose power is increased 60 times via utilizig transmission system and transferring the power to the wheels.

The smart tractor is powered by a 12 volt / 60 ampere-hour battery and the solar cells installed on it are responsible for charging the battery.

The body of the smart tractor is made of a three-shaft iron sheet and profile, and its tension is controlled by a restraining rod.

Using image processing, the robot can identify trees and people in the environment. Other capabilities of this robot include carrying loads up to 700 kg, automatic spraying with a 100-liter tank, plotting and plowing.

A trailer for beach cleaning is planned in the next versions of the robot.

In a relevant development in May, experts at an Iranian knowledge company managed to develop a smart system for agriculture and greenhouse cultivation.

The system has the capability to determine the amount of water, light, and soil needed in greenhouses and agricultural lands before planting the crop.

“In this company, we are focusing on making greenhouses smarter. Smarting agricultural lands in different regions of Iran is of great importance," Morteza Shahr-Ayeeni, the managing director of the company, said.

He pointed out that in some agricultural lands, there is an abundance of a product and in other lands, shortage of a product is experienced.

“We have designed a system that can determine the production process of a type of product at any time, season, and in any region according to the amount of rain, dryness of the air, irrigation, and the type of soil in the region.”

By using these systems and equipment, the required amount of crops can be planted on agricultural lands, he noted.

In addition, conditions can be provided to use the capacity of lands or areas that have higher productivity if there is a need for export, he added.

“Using artificial intelligence, the system can determine the amount of water, soil, and light used in agriculture. In this way, the process of planting, keeping, and harvesting the product is made smart.”
